Executive Assistant to the Head of School
Kris has thirteen years of professional experience in New York City in office management and providing executive support both in schools and corporate organizations. She has worked in Hospitality, Finance, and Media. Over the past six years, Kris has been enjoying her career in Education. Prior to joining Wetherby-Pembridge, she worked as coordinator in administration and as admissions associate at the New York International School. Preceding NYIS, she was at HudsonWay Immersion School and worked in the business office, admissions, and managed after-school programs.
Children exude enthusiasm, energy, and a cheerful vibe that are highly infectious, and this is one of the reasons why she finds it truly delightful to work in a school environment. The relationships built within school walls are priceless. Kris believes that learning is a never-ending process, and challenges and diverse responsibilities make her thrive.
Kris has a bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks in the city, spin class and Bikram yoga, reading, discovering new restaurants, and going on trips within and outside the country.
