We are pleased to announce that Luke Parker Bowles has been appointed to the Wetherby-Pembridge New York Advisory Board.

An alumnus of Wetherby School in London, Parker Bowles now lives in New York City and is Head of Production at Story Mining & Supply Co. – a Feature Film and Television Production Company and CEO of Scoundrel Films – a digital media production studio.

He previously served as Executive Vice President of Production for Open Road Integrated Media, a digital publisher and multimedia content company whose authors include William Styron, Pat Conroy, Alice Walker, James Jones, and Pearl S. Buck. At Open Road, Parker Bowles created and oversaw the Digital Entertainment division, which comprised a worldwide team of filmmakers and produced short documentary-style films about authors.

Hailing from London, Parker Bowles studied at the University of London, Yale University, and Carnegie Mellon University. In 1999, he began his film-industry career at International Creative Management (ICM) London. Now an established executive in both the United Kingdom and the United States, Parker Bowles has developed and managed a diverse slate of films for major studios and independent companies alike, including Working Title Films, Hart Sharp Entertainment, and Sharp Independent at HarperCollins. In the creative department of Working Title, Parker Bowles was involved in the development of such hit films as Chris and Paul Weitz’s About a Boy, Beeban Kidron’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice and Atonement, Shekhar Kapur’s Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and Richard Curtis’s Love Actually.

In the fall of 2003, Parker Bowles moved to New York and began working New York Independent Film Company Hart Sharp Entertainment. Parker Bowles previously served as Chairman of BAFTA New York and is a trustee of the Montclair Film Festival, The Queen Elizabeth II September 11th Garden and The Pat Conroy Literary Center.
