Mr Snell in New York!
There is nothing better than preparing to welcome a special visitor. There has been a buzz in the air since we started back last week and the School has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mr Snell from Wetherby School in London.
I was delighted to welcome a good friend and old colleague to East 96 and so proud to show off this wonderful school of ours. As a longstanding Headmaster, Mr Snell made an instant hit with everyone around him and the teaching team and children were enamoured with his stories, support and genuine appreciation of all the good work that goes on here. We are lucky to work alongside rare treasures on occasion in life, and Mr Snell is such a friend and role model to so many I know. Above all, it is his humour and open honesty and tremendous sense of fun I relate to the most as a Head myself. He was so impressed with the high quality of work that is being produced by all of your children and has welcomed you all to visit if and when you are back in London. If you are passing through Notting Hill and would like to drop in to say hello, you are most welcome. The beauty of working in a Group of Schools like ours is the genuine connectivity and welcome you will receive by everyone. We are all united by a love of learning and the deep duty of care we share for your children.
Safe flight back, Mr Snell and hope you come back to see us all soon!
