So here we are– we made it to the end of another action-packed and very happy Autumn Term at WPNY. This is our customary final festive photo gallery and we hope you enjoy the photographs taken from our Carols by Candlelight, Holiday Sweater Day, the Nursery and Pre-K Holiday Show, ‘Ralph the Reindeer’ and from every festive activity we have enjoyed in the last two weeks. What an end of term it has been! The Nursery and Pre-K performance of ‘Ralph the Reindeer’ on Wednesday was a Broadway hit and filled us all with such festive cheer. I have not smiled so much in ages – we all did and we could not fail to sing along and clap in awe! These children are only 3 and 4, but you would never know it… well done again to the Early Years teaching team. We look forward to welcoming you to our Family Assembly tomorrow morning. We have so much to share and celebrate together. I am proud to premier our WPNY Motor Movers Film, expertly shot and edited by Mr Stephenson and Ms Esteva and we will take a whistle stop tour through the last decade, which brought WPNY to the streets of Manhattan and very much on the map! We can’t fail but to head off to the holiday with so much pride and cheer. We are a unique and close-knit school community, united by the very best goals and intentions. I wish you all the best of the festive season ahead. The teaching team are all heading off on their travels tomorrow and I for one, will be spending the break visiting close friends and family across London, Oxford and Dublin. I step off the plane on Monday and straight to ‘Frozen II” with my godchildren. I could not ask for anything more. As I said at the Carols by Candlelight last week, may the next ten years be as happy and prosperous and imagine where we will be in 2030! In the meantime, let’s stay in the present and be resolved to enjoy the journey ahead together in the best way possible. See you on 7th January and thank you for all you do to make our school so happy. Happy holidays to you all!
