Dr. Paul Beresford-Hill

 

Dr. Paul Beresford-Hill is a graduate of Oxford University who moved to the US in 1973 and founded the Anglo American International School in 1976.  He returned to Oxford  as a Research Associate, in the Department of Educational Studies, in 1990.  On completion of his doctoral studies he was appointed an adjunct Professor at Columbia  University Teacher’s College and, following several years in higher education, he moved to Thailand in 1999 where he was Headmaster of the British International School, Bangkok Patana. In 2005 he accepted the position of Director General of the Mountbatten Institute.  He is also Chairman of the English Speaking Union of the US and is Chair of their International Council.  In that role he is also the ESU NGO chief representative to the United Nations.

Dr. Beresford Hill was appointed Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 2015 in recognition of his contribution to British American educational and cultural relations.
