Every child should learn and develop in a safe and caring environment. At Wetherby-Pembridge, we place strong emphasis on good behaviour, good manners and personal responsibility. The welfare and well-being of pupils is of primary importance and significance is placed on building strong collaborate links between home and school.
Celebrating the achievements of every pupil in all aspects of their life at school is central to the school ethos. Every Friday, the entire school gathers for assembly and provides opportunity for marking the success of individual pupils.
During this assembly two distinct awards are announced and presented.
The Big Apple award recognises pupils who have demonstrated kindness, consideration, enthusiasm, good manners or sheer hard work in a particular area and is presented to one pupil in each year group.
The Golden Apple Award is presented to one pupil in every class and recognises academic success and attainment.
Parents are welcome to the monthly Family Assembly listed on the School Calendar. This allows for celebration of a range of topics and interests.
